Project Pilgrim Volunteer Opportunities

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23

Kitchen Prep

5:00pm – 10:00pm
Hang out with a great group of volunteers the night before Thanksgiving and help us prepare the meal!  We will be roasting turkeys, peeling potatoes, cutting up vegetables, and lots more.  Some kitchen tools are provided, but please bring your own aprons, knives, and peelers if you can!

 

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 24

Kitchen Prep
5:30am – 1:30pm
Volunteers are needed to help Chef Mario in the kitchen preparing the meal!

Dish Washers
5:30am – 3:30pm
Volunteers are needed to help wash dishes from early morning through the end of the meal.  If washing and drying is your thing, we’ve got the job for you!  Two shifts are available – 5:30am to 10:30am and 10:30am to 3:30pm.

Delivering Meals
11:30am – 1:30pm
We need a limited number of volunteers to deliver meals throughout York County to guests who cannot attend Project Pilgrim in person.  You must have a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.

Hall Greeters
11:30am – 1:30pm
We need a limited number of volunteers who can greet guests, take their coats, and direct them to tables.

Check-In
11:30am – 1:30pm
Volunteers are needed to greet guests, check-in those who have made reservations, take donations, and have guests sign our guest book.

Wait Staff
11:30am – 1:30pm
We need a limited number of volunteers who can wait on tables, assist guests in the buffet line, and provide company to guests who come by themselves.

Buffet Servers
11:30am – 1:30pm
Volunteers are needed to help serve our delicious meal to guests at the buffet!

Beverage & Dessert Servers
11:30am – 1:30pm
We need a few volunteers who can run our beverage and dessert tables.  This would include serving drinks, making coffee, and helping guests pick their dessert.

Clean Up
1:00pm – 4:00pm
We could always use help cleaning up after Project Pilgrim!  We need volunteers who can help wash dishes, put dishes away, take out trash, break down tables and chairs, dry mop the floor, mop the kitchen…and more!
