Project Pilgrim 2016 | Thursday, November 24, 2016
On Thursday, November 24, Community Harvest will host the 18th Annual Project Pilgrim at St. Martha’s Church in Kennebunk. Project Pilgrim is an annual complimentary Thanksgiving Day dinner for community members to come together and share in delicious food with their friends and neighbors.
Dinner is prepared by Community Harvest Board member and Head Chef Mario Barros, along with the help of dozens of volunteers. In 2015, Project Pilgrim served over 300 people.
Guests can join us at St. Martha’s Church from 12:00pm – 1:30pm on Thanksgiving Day, or they can call ahead and arrange to pick up a meal or have one delivered to their home. Transportation to and from the event is also provided.
Project Pilgrim has become a tradition for many families in the area, and is a wonderful way for neighbors to get to know each other while enjoying a delicious holiday meal.
If you’d like to make a reservation (although not required) or learn more about volunteer opportunities, please call (207) 967-1911.
